A dynamic blend of traditional Celtic instrumentation, modern rhythms and strong vocal presence form the essence of Blackwater.  On their own, each is an accomplished performer…but together, these five friends and musicians create a unique style that is "Purely Original... For over 10 years, Sean, Alison, Fionna Tom & Al have been pleasing fans with high energy talent from their home base in Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania region.  Formed in 1996, the band has released 3 albums, appeared on many compilation projects, performed everywhere from intimate pubs to festival stages and brought their inspired love of their shared musical heritage to an ever growing fan base. The band’s members have a rich tradition in Celtic, Folk, Classical and Contemporary Music and have successfully merged those individual influences into a unique and dynamic sound.

Striking vocal harmonies, intricate fiddle styles, multi-instrumental talent and a penchant for compelling rhythms lend the group it’s unmistakably take on the traditional. Original compositions, innovative arrangements and an all embracing passion for fun, freshen the mix for a show that has been described as "sheer ceili aerobics!"

Their new album “Live at 10” is now available and can be ordered securely here along with their previous releases.
